  I had a delinquent account from a previous alarm company. I was in the process of buying a home and found it on my credit. I called them up and paid off the account. They had it removed completely from my credit report in two days. I was pleasantly surprised that they deleted it completely instead of marking it as paid in full. My credit score went way up and I was able to qualify to buy my home. I had a couple other past due accounts to pay off but this company was way easier to deal with than the other two companies I paid. The other two companies took forever to update it to the credit bureaus and when they did they marked it as paid in full and didn't delete the accounts. Luckily, perfection collection deleted the account completely and my credit score went up high enough for me to get the loan for my house. They were super easy to work with.

  Just like all credit collection companies they are extremely rude and don't care one bit about your concerns. This particular company is also very dishonest and I am in the process of suing them. This company is falsely reporting a debt to the credit bureau that absolutely does not belong to me. They also refuse to investigate the debt as required by law. I have called several times attempting to get information about the debt and where they bought it from -- they refuse to give me any information whatsoever. When I explained that the debt does not belong to me they rudely told me to "just pay it anyway." I again explained that this debt does not belong to me so why would I pay it -- and asked for information about the origin of the debt and they simply hung up on me. I really wish the government would crack down on these companies. I also filed a complaint with the FTC about this company.
